Spring is here, and what better way to welcome it than with the Sakura 2021 limited edition collection by Cohana! Created with exceptional craftsmanship, this collection features several handicraft items in stunning shades of pink, in celebration of Sakura, the cherry blossom season. The Mizuhiki decorative knot technique is a key feature of this collection.
The small size of this Sakura pincushion by Cohana makes it easy to bring along on travels as part of a travel sewing kit. It can be worn as a necklace while working, thanks to the leather tag and cord. The round bottom part is made from cypress wood, while the cushion is filled with polyester and covered with beautiful pink silk. The Ohajiki name given to the sewing pins refers to a traditional Japanese marble game, often played with glass or plastic marbled discs. The pink and white sewing pins have a diameter of 0.50mm and are 37mm long. The pincushion has a diameter of 33mm and is 35mm high. The pincushion necklace is supplied in a lovely little box measuring 10.7cm width x 10.7cm depth x 4.5cm height.
Cohana is a Japanese craft collective. They pride themselves on using locally sourced, high-quality materials to create beautiful tools for crafters and artisans.
